HOUSTON TRADE SHOW DISPLAYS LEVEL UP AT THE NATA 2017 EXPO


NATA was founded in 1950 at Kansas City, where 200 athletic trainers gathered to discuss the future of their profession. To date, they have 43,000 members around the world and 40 full time staff to serve the associations diverse programs.



What to expect at NATA 2017?
Houston, Texas. The home of NATA 2017. The 4-day event (June 26-29, 2017) will bring together Athletic trainers around the globe for the premier educational event that will give opportunity to connect with fellow trainers, learn about hot topics and important issues facing the profession and view the latest products and services related to athletic training. There 386 event lined up for the participants, more than 700 speakers will present on variety of topics, ranging from medical related concerns, to issues that impact the athletic training profession.

Various format of learning are introduced in this event. There are mini-courses, special topics, peer-to-peer discussion, and evidence-based forum that lasts for an hour and 6-hours break out session and advanced track seminars.

Educational offerings for members, non-members and students are prepared to cater for every attendee. Certified athletic trainers who attend all three days of the NATA 68th Clinical Symposia & AT expo will earn up to 25 CEUs. Additional CEUs may be earned by attending Advanced track Seminars, mini courses and pre-conference development workshops.

Recognitions
NATA will recognize its national award winners during the Hall of Fame induction ceremony. 7 hall of famer are being recognized plus 200 other awards for individuals, associations, schools and universities among the 32 categories and subcategories. Being rewarded in your field will encourage and individual to do well and do better in their area of expertise. This will be their legacy that they can have for the rest of their life. As Charles Thompson said, “The involvement of our members from every setting and at every level – local, state, district and national – and from every generation of athletic training is remarkable. It makes it clear why our association has grown and why the profession itself has attained such stature across the medical spectrum”. He is the Chairman of NATA Honors and Awards Committee.

Who are the exhibitors?
The 65,800 square feet of the George r. Brown Convention Center Hall C will feature more than 330 companies for their latest products and services. As the NATA Corporate Sales and Exhibits Manager Chad Cranford states, “ This is one of the larger exhibitions to date. Products and services that ATs used on the daily basis in the field or in their athletic training facility will be represented.
